THE NEXT two years for the new Independence Park Limited (IPL) board of directors will be consumed by one objective, according to chairman Honourable Mike Fennell – closing the deal on the National Stadium renovation project which has seen constant delays.

JAMAICA WILL host their first Davis Cup tennis tie in more than a decade this weekend and Tennis Jamaica president John Azar believes it is only fitting to have newly laid surfaces for the four courts at the Tennis Jamaica Centre for the February 4-5 tie against Estonia.

Jamaica’s level one team to the Pan American Youth Gymnastics (Hope) Championships in Colombia ended the meet with an impressive silver medal in the team event while the level two team just missed out on a bronze medal and finished fourth in the competition which ended yesterday.
